Morning Light EP

This week has been incredibly exciting for me.  One, it was Christmas yesterday.  Two, as of yesterday I was able to share with the world a project I've been working on for quite some time.  If you click HERE, you will be directed to my post from yesterday, giving you a little sneak peek of this design I've been so enthusiastic about.

Over the past few months I've had the opportunity to design an album cover for a talented local musician. I absolutely loved working on this project! It combined three things that I love; music, photography, and design (specifically typography), making this project all the more wonderful in my eyes, not to mention that this EP was a Christmas gift to a lucky little girl who was just born a few weeks ago. Drew Burson the talented musician who I photographed and designed this album for wrote and recorded the lovely lullabies for his sister and his now 3 week old niece, Ellie. This special circumstance required me to be extremely secretive for months but now since Christmas is over I can finally share my work with you all!!!

Drew did a fantastic job, I absolutely love all of the songs, it's too hard for me to pick a favorite but if you would like to hear a preview of one my favorite songs from his album scroll below! Which one is it? Hint: it's Ellie's song. I didn't hear any of these songs until after the gift was given, the wait was definitely worth it!
IT SOUNDS AWESOME!

The EP is available as of today for download now HERE! I encourage you to follow that link, listen to the beautiful songs Drew wrote, then buy his album! You will not regret it!

Here it is! Enjoy!
Below you will see the final product; printed, constructed and burned.  Yes, it is all finished!
And it looks so good!!! I'm very proud and happy with the final design.
